Today is the 91st birthday of one of the best Cuban Pitchers in the 1950s in the Cuban Professional League, Camilo Pascual. He also played several years in the Major Leagues. I show some Cuban cards from the Chiclet Peloteros and Caramelo Stadium collections, along with to Pedro Ramos

Armando Marsans and Rafael Almeida were the first Cubans to play in the Major Leagues in the 20th century, they were signed by Cincinnati in 1911. I show Almeida's 1911 contract and photos of them in the United States and in Cuba at the Almendares Park Stadium.

Default Marsans and Almeida

Great photos Rolando, here are their 1913 T207 cards. I also liked the 1943 Fósforos La Comercial Team Cuba cards pictured above. Do you have chance images of Virgilio Arteaga, Angel Fleitas, Rogelio Martínez, Julio Moreno, Leandro Pazos, Rogelio Valdés, los hermanos Cordiero, and any professional players from LA Commercial set.

I show a sheet of the album Caramelos Felices 1945-46, and a photo of the wrappers where the candies came.

Very nice, Rolando.
The cards used to be quite cheap, like everything else. These are from my last collection. I don't own them any longer...but cool to see.
