Nice to see this thread revived. And thanks Pete for providing another V89 card image (Pipp) not previously seen. I have resized it to be approximately the same image size as seen for the cards in the original post, and added it to that post as well.

I'm guessing this Paterson issue from 1922 can't be the first kid friendly baseball card issue. Can anyone tell me the identity of the first "national" baseball card release in a kid friendly product?

I'm not sure about nationally issued, but E223 G&B Chewing Gum cards were certainly issued with a kid friendly product.
