This is interesting. Not really looking at the cool early auto. But the issue itself, I've never seen it before. Definitely a photo from 1951 wearing the 50th anniversary patch. That card happens to be my avatar. I bought it from Kelly Eisenhauer, renowned in the Mickey Mantle collectible world. I think he had around 5 at one time. He said he got them from Mantle's family after he passed. They said that Mickey had the photo cards printed up so that when requested for an autograph, he could sign the photo card and give it out. Another Mantle collector on this site also bought one from Kelly. He tried to get PSA to grade it and even with Kelly supporting the authenticity of the card, they declined to grade it. They will only grade the autographs on the cards that have been signed.
