Very strange! Here's the auction site decription of this lot:
"Scarce 1963 Nalley's Canadian Football League complete set of (160) coins. Although each circular treasure displays reverse mounting residue, the fronts are quite clean with vibrant player accents. Highlights include: #1 J. Parker, #13 Morris SP, #17 Patrick SP, #57 Sutherin, #59 Viti SP, #60 Mosca SP, #79 Learn SP, #80 Poliziani SP, #92 Gray, #100 Grant CO, #112 Volcan SP, #133 Jokanovich SP, #134 Keeling, #145 Kapp and #153 Bailey. Opening Bid $500."
It was virtually impossible for a kid to complete a set of these back in 1963 because only Humpty Dumpty Potato Chips made all 160 coins available. First of all that's a lot of ten cent chip bags to eat even over a four to five month time period. Secondly I'm not sure that Humpty Dumpty Potato Chips were even sold west of the Ontario-Manitoba border so kids in Western Canada would simply not have been able to complete a set regardless of how many Nalley's or Hunter's Potato Chips they bought.
Therefore the set being auctioned off must have been completed more recently by an adult collector. But why would an
adult glue these coins to another surface?

Talk about savaging the value of a collection he must have taken great trouble to complete!
