Just looked at Baseball Almanac and it looks like Lou Gehrig hit one off Ted Lyons that scored Ruth, Combs and maybe Pennock. He also hit one off Lefty Grove that scored Joe Sewell and Ruth.

After checking game logs and play-by-plays listed on BBR, I found that this occurred on May 7, 1927.

Going into the 9th Inning, the Yankees led the White Sox 2-0; New York would plate 6 in the inning, only two of which were earned due to two errors prior to Gehrig's slam, which scored Combs, Koenig and Ruth.

Ruth had reached on a fielder's choice and Pennock scored.

So, three HOFers scored on the homerun hit off a fourth HOFer, Ted Lyons.

And, of course, that happened with the homer against Grove too.


Additional Note from the play-by-play:

Pennock finished up the game in the bottom of the ninth, but not before one Alex Metzler singled and advanced to second and then third base on DEFENSIVE INDIFFERENCE!
