Here's a little history I was able to dig up on Donruss purchasing two Ruth jerseys: In Leyland's May 2023 auction, they purchased a 1925 Home jersey for just over $264,000. Sometime before that, they must have purchased a different Ruth Road jersey also from Leyland's for $300,000, as quoted in this article from ESPN in 2005: https://www.espn.com/espn/sportsbusi...ory?id=2043622 I can't find any other info on that earlier jersey though...... Anyone have more insight on that?
