Hank, I don't know...it was at Goldin's Booth. (Ryan, do you know what that is?)
Ryan- Danny was just holding it, I do not think he purchased it...PS, come up to the show next time, you can stay with us overnight. Last edited by MVSNYC; 08-18-2024 at 08:46 AM. |

I’m going to assume that’s a Fatima Johnson unless I’m looking at the wrong thing

I've been to this show on occasion, but haven't been for a few years now. It should be called the "East Coast Regional" show rather than the "East Coast National". Everyone had a a different perspective, depending on what you collect. But, there is very little memorabilia at any show, regardless of the size. Shows have changed post Covid and they are better, worse, or the same depending on your point of view.

I was driving from Franklin Square, Long Island around 12pm. But then I thought I’d might as well wait until the late October Hofstra Show. I went and bought the 8 year old a catchers mitt, baseball pants, new batting helmet and batting gloves at Play It Again Sports in Oceanside.

Something different. It's got a facsimile sig and is p/c size.

I was curious about that one, too. While the photo isn't the clearest, it appeared that the sig may have been live.

I can't get a clear zoom but I think this is Wako PC and it is Signed.

Yes, and wow! Never seen it before. If I had to conjecture, I'd say those photos came from one or more of the annual exhibition games he pitched in Humboldt, Kansas, where he was born and raised. This PC may have been a one-off made by a collector, or perhaps made as a giveaway at a banquet or some such. If the latter, you'd think there would be more of them around, so I'll go with the former. But who knows? At any rate, what a great WaJo piece!
