Default Ebay is FULL of IMBECILE Employees

This card is as fake as a $3 Bill.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/38719886890...Bk9SR6K2lO6WZA

I report it and receive this:

Hello r337man,

What happened:
We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made by a customer service agent.

If you reported content that isn’t listed below, we’ll send a separate email once we’ve made a decision.

Your reference ID:
2-182689629185

Here are the listings you reported that are included in this decision:
Item: 387198868909 1887 Allen & Ginter (N28) - Cap Anson

At least is will go through the authenticity guarantee. You'd hope it would get rejected at that point.

This is exactly the point of the service. It's unreasonable to expect eBay to manually scour and remove bad cards from their platform at the rate they are listed.

Then why have the button to report them.... I disagree

If reported they should remove it, PERIOD! If bad of course.... But their IDIOTS are too STUPID!

I used to work for them in their EMR program and would have bad cards removed within minutes!

Dan--I think the seller's sterling record of prior sales gave him the benefit of the doubt

Sad that the "EMR team vanished 10 years ago.

Default Tragic listing

I like the AI-generated description, which makes the whole ebay enterprise look like a nest of scammers...

I still go there multiple times a day. But it's been weeks since I won anything. And it was only a tidbit. It sure isn't like it used to be.

As for the EMR team, I was on that too. But that program was short lived for whatever reason. Another poor decision by ebay. I have a contact for when I really need something done, but I shouldn't need one.
I am not sure the money they are saving in AI is more than the money they are losing by doing it. I doubt I report anything again as the card can say reprint on it, literally, and being sold as real...and they won't take it down. I wonder if they deny 100% of the reports?

Shit, Dan, that's like saying "the sky is blue". And it is insulting to imbeciles; the correct term is "idiot". An imbecile is a person with a mental age of three to seven years and an IQ of 25–50, above "idiot" (IQ below 25) and below "moron" (IQ of 51–70). The idiots at eBay handle front-line customer service, while the imbeciles manage them. All of them can only dream of reaching moron status; morons get reserved parking.

And a card I won on eBay:

Fron Chandy Greenholt; I sure do miss that guy. RIP.

Adam, are incompetents higher on the scale than morons, and do they get both reserved parking and lunch in the executive dining room?

Incompetents are VP and up, so yes, they get parking, lunch, and a key to the executive crapper. Third stall seat pinches, though.

The customer service people are powerless. They cant even erase feedback when a basic rule is broken, discussing the outcome of a dispute. When they answer and say thank you for your 25 years, I say Im sure you mean it but your executives have ruined the sports memorabilia side of ebay. Many of my "concierge" customer service people are friendly, intelligent and usually agree with my complaints but have no power to change anything. When they submit a complaint, nothing ever happens. Some of them may be morons or idiots, most just people punching a clock for a dishonest company. Many are sellers on ebay as well. They are for sure are more polite than the average waiter in Los Angeles at a 100.00 per person restaurant.

These people at eBay do not know the difference between an authentic card and a non authentic card. They do not know the first thing about sport cards.
They are probably located overseas and have never touched a card in their life.

eBay's customer service is just pitiful.

They are just like all the other major corporations today. Just spent an 1 hour on chat with Verizon customer service. I had 1 question, why was I charged for something that I was told was part of a promotion and it would be free. Had to ask the same question 4 times and the agent could not not come up with a simple answer. Finally, I told him F you.

Bottom line, you are just wasting your time trying to convince these people that something is not right.

Respectfully, I think you are mistaking. I honestly don't think there are people manning the front lines. Probably are on the 2nd lines, but the front lines seem all AI....and there is nothing intelligent about it.

I gave up trying to report items. Every night I see at least ten fake listings within my saved searches. I've even told the sellers that I'm tired of seeing the same fake listings all the time, but I think they get off on my mood swings.

I’ve seen a lot of members report stuff only to get the “go fly a kite“
Response from eBay but then a short time later the listing is removed ,
I say keep reporting
You are doing God’s work
