Hit a show today right after it kicked off, and that early arrival paid off big time, because I was able to grab this beautiful booty before any other cardboard enthusiasts got there grubby little hands on MY cards:

1963 Topps #200 Mickey Mantle SGC 5
This is the same card and grade I picked up a couple of months ago, but I jumped again. The price was right, and before I even got home from the hour long drive on this blistering hot day, its value had surely grown even higher.

1965 Topps #160 Roberto Clemente SGC 6.5
My goodness, this is a sharp looking card!! Not a fan of headshots at all, but something about (with apologies to John Fogerty) this brown eyed, handsome man has always appealed to me. And look at that centering!!

1966 Topps #126 Jim Palmer Rookie Card
I doubled my pleasure with this HOF RC as I negotiated a package deal with the seller. His prices were already good, but I got them at an even more gooder price as a duo...and I haven't a clue why each of these sharp as eff cards 'only' got an SGC 5.5.

'Twas a very good day.

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.
