Paul... Wow.
It brings to mind the scene in the movie M*A*S*H, when Hawkeye and Duke offer a martini to newly almost met Trapper John in the tent, in Korea. Trapper John looks at the martini and asks about the olive. Duke responds "where the hell do you think you are," Hawkeye says "we're three miles from the front." Trapper John says something about how "a man really can't savor a martini without an olive." Or something close to all of that. Paul's version: "You can't really savor your Wagner cards unless they're signed." I shake my head in awe and admiration.
