Certainly, the John Cobb / Ray Edwards Honus Wagner T206 Piedmont back was a fake.

Interesting. The most common T206 Backs that PSA has graded are the Piedmonts.

Intuitively one would think there would be more Wagners also. BTW, there’s factual error in the PSA essay. The “ flagship” brand was not Piedmont but Sweet Caporal. Piedmont was a new brand when the T206s were issued.
