Absolutely hate when "complete sets" are sold all the while holding back significant card(s) only to auction off seperately.

What exactly do you hate about it? The only draw back I see is the very few looking to buy complete sets. For me there are several things I like about splitting them up.

The only set where that was done was the 1933 Goudey. I have a duty to my consignor and this is how he wanted to sell it. The T206 wasn't complete, and the 1934 Goudey is being sold complete as are a ton of smaller sets where we could've been pulling out cards of Babe Ruth, Jesse Owens or Joe Louis etc.

So at some point in the future when you sell your complete sets we will expect that you will sell each of them as a single lot, without splitting out any individual cards, thereby earning yourself a lower price.

Thanks Steve and Octavio,

Heading into the closing weekend. To be eligible to bid on an item in extended bidding you must have a bid on that exact item prior to extended bidding.

The Ruth Type 1 Photo is at $220
The T206 Near Set is at $7300
The 1933 Goudey near set is at $3300
The 1934 Goudey complete set is at $1900

Don't kick yourself after the auction is over!!!
