Charles and Bill

Good guesses, but not the ballplayer I am looking for.

Keep trying, you are on getting warm.

I did not think this quiz would be this tough. Here is one more hint.....

He played BB for 14 years, on five different East Coast teams

Hmmm....this one's a tough one! As another guess, he's not a t206 player, but could it be Casey Stengel?

I was thinking that as well...but I thought it had to be a T206 player. Casey meets the other clues (14 years, five teams, high World Series batting average) and I know he hit the first home run in Ebbets Field (not sure what the other two stadiums are).

I see now that Ted never said it was a T206 player...but I guess since it was in the T206 thread I was not clear.

I never noticed this before but the fact that there are several southern leaguers in the 213-1 (aka 1910) coupon set, really complicates the concept (now taboo?) of coupons being considered t206 cards and just a burdick classification mistake. It really seems to point to a completely unique way the creators conceived and built the coupon offering.
