Philly! I love this card because it's an E100 and its horizontal. Nice pick up brother. Hope you've been well my friend.

Thanks Andy,
Only horizontal in the set and a pretty scarce yellow background.

That’s Elmer Koestner. Cicotte was with Boston at the time, if I’m not mistaken.

Sam Crawford, one of only five in entire issue graded as high as a PSA 5 (and none higher). PSA very very tough in grading these...

Won it last month, but only recently was able to open it. The top to a yukata box used by US players during the 1934 tour of Japan. Not exactly a card, but pretty neat!

Me too. They are a great value relative to cards of the era and look really good. Plus, the pin slabs are a ton easier to store.

I saw this at a paper fair and had to have it. Max Baer as world champ. The image is common; he used it for his fan pictures. What made it special is that it is an 11 x 14 rotogravure on heavy cotton rag paper, so definitely made as wall art. That I have not seen before.

Default Twice as nice!

This hobby is crazy sometimes!

It took 18 years to find a nice 1912 Claude Berry zeenut.

Picked up a redeemed example on July 18, 2023.

50 days later I find another "unpunched" example via Mark Macrae!

Thanks again Mark!

Have been on the lookout for a low grade Mays RC for quite a while, was finally able to pick one up in the latest Collector Connection auction. It's certainly been well-loved, but I'm glad to add it to my PC! Thanks Scott!

Not a bad day. Two pickups, but only showing the one that is a baseball card. The other for $2.00 is the Rolling Stones book Life in Pictures (hard back).
