Picked up this 1946 Feller All-Stars Barnstorming Program. The back page is missing, but the program is beautifully scored. There is a newspaper article about the game taped into it, and the person wrote the date Oct 7, 1946 in it. This is one of the earlier versions of the program which has a white cover. Later examples (ones printed for later games) had an all orange cover.

The listing only had the front page and the scorecard page, so it was a cool surprise to see the ticket stub taped into the program behind the newspaper article.

The scorecard is filled out including Paige in the game, though the newspaper clipping does not show him. The Paige All-Stars had Artie Wilson, Henry Thompson, Quincy Trouppe, Howard Easterling, Buck O'Neil etc. The Feller team had Phil Rizzutto, Bob Lemon etc.

The Feller All-Stars won the majority of the games of the series, though the Paige All-Stars won this one.

Got a message online from an antiques dealer. She thought I might like this. Set me back a whopping $1.50.

Ron- Nice bat with interesting colors. I don't think I've seen blue rings like that before.

Thank you Gary. I’ve looked and couldn’t find one either with those colors. Definitely an early bat. I’ll continue to look on here, there’s some great threads with ring bats.

And thank you Doug for your help whenever I have had a question regarding the M114s. I admire the amount of effort you have put into collecting and researching these items. Maybe a reference book could be in the works???👊🏼

Not a huge find, but I found this baseball glove charm for sale. It’s the same ones that you often see attached to vintage pinbacks, so I picked it up.

A couple of additions to my low end Giants collection...a tray with the SF Chronicle headline after they beat the Dodgers in the 1962 NL Playoff...shown with matching mug and a mug with the SF Examiner headline...there is also a glass candy dish and pennant with the Examiner headline. The Examiner headline was better but the Chronicle mug is of better quality. They were sold at Bullock and Jones, a SF store that had been around since the Gold Rush days.

I also picked up a Wine List from the Francisco Grande. The Giants owned the resort and trained there from 1961-79. I have a ton of Francisco Grande stuff.
