This is the first time I've studied over a vintage pickup thread since I sold off almost all of mine early in 2021.

It's refreshing to see some beauties still new homes.

Very Impressive.

Great blank back McQuillen card, but how did SGC determine it was a T216, and not an E90-1, E106 or D303 blank back? Does it have paper stock instead of cardboard?

And it doesn't matter which set it ends up being from, still a neat card.

From my understanding when the lot of 17 was found it was with several Kottons...(I think it was all 17 at once, can't check cause Goodwin's site is dead now) I can definitely say this guy was one of those sold in that though. I won the Sweeney originally

Also heard there's some fairly evident cardboard stock differences between the T216s and the Es...he's definitely cardboard from what I can see

Nice backstory info. After looking into it further, it definitely would not be an E90-1, as I mentioned it being a possibility in my previous post, because the E90-1 has a "Phila" team designation instead of Pittsburgh. The E106 and D303 versions of McQuillan seem to share the Pittsburgh team designation.
