While I have a lot of Topps RC's, the rookie aspect alone is not my focus. I like nice cards of HOF'ers, and including early cards - but I guess like for me the best example so far is I have not been able to pull the trigger yet on an Aaron or Clemente RC - because I already have nice, but dramatically cheaper versions of their 2nd year cards. And in this case, the 2nd year cards for both players have the exact same portrait pictures as used on their true rookie cards. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have them eventually - but they aren't exactly at the top of my list due to that reason. Another good example for me as a Cubs fan is Ernie Banks. I don't have the '54 Topps, but the card I do have and just absolutely love is his '55 Bowman. That's good enough for me.

I guess my nicest Topps RC right now would be the '68 Ryan / Koosman.
