Ok, so please forgive me since this isn’t baseball but I had to share this with folks who appreciate vintage cardboard.

I live in Richmond, Va. and after 136 years of being away from home, this 1887 Allen & Ginter card from the N28 World’s Champions set came home to live with me. It’s my first N28 and I’m just speechless.

👉Always looking for Abner Dalrymple!

📬Today's mail: 113-1 Hands on hips, feet apart
Dalrymple, L.F., Denvers (Fc)

This is my:
7th (of 12 possible) Abner
3rd outside his pose run
2nd from 1889/ w Denver.
Plus, it completes the 113-1 variation run (of 3)
Big thanks to Bill Evans for the assist here.

Nice going. n172 pose runs are a fun challenge. I'm making progress on Billy Crowell, journeyman pitcher who played for many teams including New Orleans and Houston. Here are 2 new additions.

Thanks, Patrick!

My wife rowed one year with the boat club on the James, so this card piqued my interest when it came up for sale…plus of course being an A&G card.
