Bump. Looking for other 75 topps mini enthusiasts or just people looking to sell cards from this set. Generally looking for Ex and above. Thank you.

Jason,

I am itching to put this set together. I am not just ready yet, and when I do, I want to get a partial set to start with and fill in the rest over time. I am looking at EX+ average to put together and will start that project sometime soon.

Cheers

Butch

Sounds like fun Butch. If you ever want to chat about it I’m game. It has become somewhat of an obsession and I know I’m not a pioneer when it comes to going deep on this set but it’s been fun getting to know the cards and the challenges in greater detail. Since I got back into collecting I haven’t tried to build a million different sets. My pattern has been to focus hard on a set for a while. First it was 57 Topps then it was 41 Playball and now this.

I have tended to get bored with the same set after a year or so but I think the minis might be a different story.

Perhaps something to look for...there have been several 1975 "blackless" minis for sale here and there. They don't seem to be proofs as the backs are printed.

Best,
Ed

Jason,

The right set just came up. I just picked up a near set 624 /660 from the bay for a price that fit my want range. It even had a good deal of stars. Mainly Brett and Yount. It should be here within a week or so. So, I will be looking at you to help me fill out the set.

Here is the link.

Score!!!!!

Cheers,

Butch

Wow Butch what a great price you got. Congrats. That all said it looks like 75 full size which I’m not collecting. That said, amazing deal.

Damn, and so it is. Oh well it is still worth the price and I can turn it around once I complete it for fodder to get the mini-set. I need to get my eyes examined. Somehow I tried to make it a smaller set. duh.

Too funny. Regardless, it will be fun to complete and turn around.

Cheers.

I'll be back.

If it makes you feel any better I made the exact same mistake two years ago. Also you will have no problem making money on that. Hell I’d give you double what you paid.

Hi Jason,

I have a couple hundred dupes of 1975 minis.
I would like to trade for my needs, but would consider selling.
Do you have a list of what you need, and or what you have to trade?

Thanks,
Rich

I'm edging closer on this slow build of the 75 mini. Jason, I think I've already checked my dupes for your needs but Butch can send me his wantlist and I'll check. More than happy to send anything I have.

And thanks again Jason for your generous assistance a few months back.

Bob,

Real easy. My want list starts at 1 and finishes at 660. I have not started yet. Thought I had with the recent purchase but it was a regular set. So embarrassing. I will start this set shortly but have to now finish up the regular 75 set for some seed money to get into the 75 mini set.

Cheers,

Butch
