So my buddy said it was ok to share this.

As I stated in the early 1970's my buddy would send a group of sheets of paper with the Team the player was on and the year. So for some of these players this was a hefty stack. Only a few sent back every sheet. Loyd Waner, Waite Hoyte, Joe McCarthy, Gehrinnger. All of these players were very nice and I am sure my Buddy was thrilled when his SASE was delivered back to him. Others would only sign one or two. Max Carey signed one and below is what he wrote on the back of his signature.
I asked my Friend if he remembered getting this. He said yes and that the next time he wrote he only sent one sheet to Max. Which he got back.. with only his signature on the front.
