I went to the Strongsville show this past April and the show was absolutely packed on Friday, so packed you had a hard time seeing what was on the tables. So packed that within an hour of the show everyone was sweating bullets and complaining. I literally had to leave the ballroom on occasion to get to some cooler air. I last attended the show in 2018 and it was probably around a quarter of the people. And I’m a young guy and average build. Not sure how the big guys and older gents suffered through.
This place was packed with a noticeable older crowd so that tells you everything you need to know about the vintage market at that time. Anyhow selection was great if your looking for raw, not too much graded stuff. Tobacco and candy cards a plenty. This show desperately needs a larger venue. It was far too crowded to the point where it felt unsafe. Unless the venue changes I’m likely not going back. Last edited by 1954 topps; 10-13-2022 at 05:53 PM. Reason: Spelling |
