I have purchased two cards, and sent them in for actual grading. They came back A, and not the kind with the description. One card was sold, the current one I have I am actually keeping and could never tell if it was trimmed.
It is super clean on the front & back. I have not researched the card yet to see if it is actually cracked from a case. The card looks flawless to me.
Curious to anyone that has thoughts on this, and appreciate it! It will NOT be a card I sell, as I kicked my self in the butt for missing a Cy Young portrait that was similar to this in appearance.
The main question I have is SGC throwing A’s on nice cards vs giving them a grade and then it is too late to retract?

"A" usually means that there is an issue with the card that SGC doesn't like. I had a 1956 Jackie Robinson with a spot of damage. It got an A. I also had a card that was trimmed. It got an "A" as well.
