Depends on the card.
Case 1: The card is a 1998 or newer card that was inserted into packs with a certified autograph. (Caveat: They also force some that were heavily counterfeited in this group to go through PSA/DNA dual autograph authentication service.) Any other case: Requires PSA/DNA service. That is for cards that were aftermarket autos, or ones that were pack inserted, but before 1998.
