Mr. Griffith's Senators won the 1925 A.L. pennant, and his shortstop, Mr. Peckinpaugh, was named the A.L. MVP for 1925.

Here's my lone CJ. I like to think that's a caramel stain rather than something else big Ed encountered during his 100 year journey to my collection.

Well before he could drink rum, Jobu bought this one as a youngster. It was a card I had only seen in price guides and catalogs and it was one of those poses that always really spoke to me. I remember being astounded that I actually found one in person (not a ton of pre-war made it to the local shows in Milwaukee in the late 80s-early 90s) and the condition made it obtainable for a kid.

Jamie, how in the name of God is your Cobby a SGC 2!! Is there some technical reason ,not visible on the scan, for the grader to commit such an injustice to your gorgeous card? If this is now the new grading standard there, then I might just have to go raw in the future (cards not body).

My one and only. Like so many other cards, I sure wish I had picked up a few more when they were more reasonably priced.

Hey John

It is a really high eye appeal 2. There is a staple hole in the top of the card barely noticeable. But it’s there. Located on the top portion portion in the white border. The card presents like a 5 in my opinion.

Jeff/Phil. Great 1914 CJs. I enjoyed looking at them

Even a jacked up Jack can be wonderful in its own way. I don't have many C-Jacks, but this 1914 Tesreau is one of my favorite designs in the set, and I made sure it became part of the collection.
