Is anyone familiar with this ebay seller? Seems like he has quite a few high profile 19th century cabinets of baseball players in their street clothes. Some of his identifications seem like a stretch to me.
Thoughts? https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?isRe...yrodgersrelics |

None of them look like the players to me. Not the Galvin or the O'Rourke. Just my opinion

Buying lots of old cabinets for $1-$2 a card and then picking the baseball player the people in them most look like can be a profitable scam.
The really weird cabinet card BS that people like to do is take any cabinet card of a random male doing literally anything and add "Gay interest" or "Gay" to the eBay auction title and increase the price 1000%. I cannot fathom why this works, if it works, but there are hundreds of them on eBay at any given time. |

George Wood does look like the Detroit baseball player, have not checked the others, I checked google on George Wood, but would not buy for his price. Tough decision without baseball uniforms.

Some of them sort of, kind of, look like the player he says they are, but none hold up to any real scrutiny. They are just random 19th century dudes, and I would guess the seller knows this.
