I have experimented with several systems over the years, including the ones mentioned here. I have found the best method for my purposes is as follows:
1. A three ring binder within a slipcase to keep out dust. 2. Top load mylar sheets closed on three sides with an open top. 3. Adhesive strips for the mylar sheets so that they may be placed in binder. 4. The mylar so attached allows for visibility of the front and back of the photo. 5. Place a piece of black paper, attached with adhesive strips as well, behind each mylar sheet. This system allows for nice visibility of all aspects of the photo, the black backing provides great framing for the images as you flip through and the slipcase provides for protection.
