I reached somewhat of a milestone last October when I acquired this 1978 Bluefield Orioles signed ball (signed by Cal Jr. & 16 others). Was purchased from a woman who attended games in Bluefield, WV as a child with her grandparents (and still lives there)...In 63 games, Cal hit .264 with no homers & 33 errors...Obviously better things were to come!
The milestone I reached is that I now have a team signed ball from every season in CRJ's career.....My 1979 ball is from Charlotte (after he was called up), so I'd still love to have one from Miami.... Here is the ball and a team signed program (which I've owned for years):
