During the summer of 1991 (exactly 30 years ago), I acquired my first few T206 cards (Elberfeld, Devlin and Kroh); the first two were Pied & Sweet Cap, but the Kroh was a Polar Bear, clearly not rare, but a little different and slightly less common...Well, that was enough for me, I was hooked from the minute I saw the Polar Bear...
Anyway, from that day forward, I was just enthralled with studying & acquiring as many different backs as possible. I've always been involved with art and design, so the various design motifs of the different backs and graphic design/typography just always appealed to me.
