They have very similar value, deserving hall of famers but hardly at the top end. I’d rate them about evenly. Too much is said about Doby’s debut date and race and not enough about his 140 OPS+. Man was a fine hitter, just a shame he didn’t get into more games.
Minnie’s value is in being a rookie and spiking on just being elected last week. It will calm down. Personally, I think his Bowman is his actual rookie. I know they both are because they are from the same year, but Topps 4th series is significantly after Bowman’s first series. His Bowman is his first. His muddier looking, cream border version of the Bowman is probably his true first major league card.
