Congrats to Tyler Gilbert for his great performance, especially after spending 6 years in the minors. Unbelievable!!
 It should be noted that Bumpus Jones was the ONLY pitcher to hurl a no-hitter in his ML DEBUT game. Breitenstein, Bobo Holloman and Tyler Gilbert tossed one in their first ML START. One additional distinction is that although Bumpus Jones pitched his game when overhand pitching was finally allowed, but his mound distance was not from the current ML standard of 60' 6"... Here's a toast to all of the aforementioned pitchers that were fortunate enough to accomplish this unique feat. Hopefully Tyler Gilbert's career will fare better than Bobo Holloman.
