The pen lift on the T worried me, but I'd trust Shelly any day over myself.

It might be the 1954 team issue, but it looks like a 1951 patch on the left sleeve.

Not really, just his last name and some number. I know sometimes the context of the picture will be written on the reverse. The seller noted it was from spring training 1951, but could not find this picture on the web or anything else about it.
