I paid extra for the 2 day grading, however, was a bit concerned after reading the grading companies were not meeting deadlines. I wanted it graded quickly in the event there was an issue with the card being authentic.

I mailed the card usps “priority” on Monday, September 28. I just received the card back today. It graded a “2”. Based on this positive experience I will be submitting additional cards to SGC that I have purchased earlier this year and a number of winnings from the recent Boston Sportcard Exchange Auction. I’ve attached a picture of the graded 65 Topps Namath. Tom

Great looking Namath Rookie. I'm still looking for the right PSA 4 to come along for my girls Registry set. She has all the others 1966 to 1973 and a small group of the Odd Ball releases. Seems like you had a great turn around time but at a cost. But there are so many reprints of this card, I understand the urgency. I'd buy one raw but just don't know enough to be comfortable about it. I'll stick with raw T206's all day long though.
