George Henry Paskert
Dode Paskert with a DRUM back......
April 13, 1911 Phillies vs the Giants at the Polo Grounds, Dode made a spectacular catch which many Baseball historians consider the greatest catch ever in Baseball. In the bottom of the 8th inning, Fred Snodgrass of the Giants smashed a deep line drive into the left-center field gap at the Polo Grounds. It looked for sure to be an inside-the-park Home Run. Dode raced after the drive and at the last moment turned, and dove to the ground, and caught the ball with his bare hand.  . .  TED Z T206 Reference .
