My buddy is the grandson of Ruth's adopted daughter (Julia). He has told me that there was alot of resentment and animosity between Julia and Dorothy. Apparently Dorothy took everything in terms of memorabilia related to Ruth. Unfortunately, my buddy's side of the family got nothing.
In a completely unrelated tidbit I live right down the street from Ruth's "summer home" in Sudbury, MA.
