The New York Mets/Metropolitans The Washington Senators/Nationals The Philadelphia Phillies/Blue Jays The Cincinnati Reds/Redlegs The Chicago White Sox The Boston Red Sox The Oregon Ducks The Irvine Anteaters The Shreveport Steamer The Philadelphia Bell The Detroit Wheels The Memphis Southmen ... are just a few that come to mind off the top of my head. There are infinitely more non-intimidating and benign team names that I can't readily conjure up. Fun thread!
