If you end up winning the item, I�d reach out immediately afterwards and express your concerns and see what he recommends. Perhaps you can pay a bit extra so that it�s properly packaged/wrapped. In most cases, it will be fine assuming the seller knows how to properly ship items. That said, I can�t tell you the number of times that I�ve purchased items that have been damaged in transit due to poor packaging. If you reach out before shipping, that will at least provide you some piece of mind.
