As promised, here are a couple more cards from that initial BST purchase.
I really like the background of the Jim Owens' card. Simple, clean, elegant image of an old ballpark. As for Stan Lopata, there's a bit more going on in his action pose. It looks less like a staged image and more like in-game action. Additionally, and very interestingly, Topps shortened the team name to "Phils" on the front of Lopata's card. For the position/team name, the font size is also quite different between the two cards. |
