That Rockford Peaches pic is awesome... here’s my latest Sosnak, becoming sort of an obsession at this point.

Default Peaches

Thanks much! I guess it sometimes helps to live near Rockford as occasionally things for this team sometimes surface....identified all of the players/manager/chaperone in this photo. One only played a short time for Rockford in 1946...her name is Lee Surkowski--helped them get to the Shaughnessy finals that year but lost in 6 games.....turns out she is still around at the young age of 94!

Default 60s era White Sox batting helmet

For decades I've thoroughly enjoyed collecting 60s era White Sox game worn/used memorabilia. During that time batting helmets have been difficult for me to find. Tickled to recently add this battled scarred mid-to-late 60s example to the collection

Awesome Ruth!

That would look fantastic broken out of the slab, and framed/matted with a vintage photo of the Babe. Beautiful auto!

Picked this up in RMY last night. 1911 or 1912 type 1 of Frank Schulte crossing the plate. Looks like it might be right after a very rare over the fence home run (could also be a ground rule double too I guess). At any rate got it for far below my high so kudos to RMY for putting on a legit auction!

Default Mail Day, part II!

Here you go Ben, this is the bat I was REALLY waiting for!

Joe DiMaggio (Hornsby) model H117; circa 1951-52. PSA calls it Pro Stock since it doesn't match his personal ordering records (D29L); but specifically describes "heavy" left barrel contact and ball marks, and the weight is notated on the knob.

Mears gave it a base grade of A8, but deducted a point for the back barrel restoration, so final grade A7. The back barrel looks fantastic, and you can barely tell though.

I think this is as close as I am going to get for a Joe D. gamer without selling a kidney!

Awesome bat, maybe you could sell a B349 bat with a killer nice flame burned finish to help pay for this one.

I try to collect almost anything from the 1977-1978 Jersey Indians. I thought these 2 tickets were pretty interesting.
