I'm not sure when they started adding the "warning" stamping. I think fairly recently due to too many sellers saying "it's got a good cert" when in fact it has a cert that exposes one big problem.
What I like about it, is that the item and the alteration and the damage stand apart from each other. That matters a lot in this case, as it's a recently "discovered" foreign entry - this may be the first one to get a certificate. It's been known by the handful of people that care for a few years now, but isn't listed in the catalog. It's not exactly common, I know of 6 total. If someone wants that particular stamp, they can read the cert, and decide if the fake cancel and minor damage is a no-go for them. |
