Joe DiMaggio: The Hero's Life by Richard Creamer is an extremely well-written book. But if you are looking for something that heaps praise on Joe D you'll want to look elsewhere. This one is pretty eye-opening as to his relationships and private life.
But there is plenty of baseball in there as well.
