Oddly enough, last night I just came across an article from September/October 1997 issue of the VCBC by Jeff Obermeyer that deals with this very subject, and which I had forgotten about. I have updated the third post in this thread with all the major league player additions (these additions capitalized in my list) based upon a very handy list in the article.
Here shortly I will post Jeff's list, which includes the MLB teams and years played for each player, as well as a listing (identified as incomplete) of MLB players in the Obak issues that appeared in other sets, with those sets identified. Brian Last edited by brianp-beme; 11-19-2018 at 09:07 PM.

Hopefully posting these is hunky dory. The original version of these lists were published in SCD in 1985 by John Spalding.

oddly enough on the list above Stovall is spelled yet another way lol "Stoval" So much for my big discovery though.
