I'm old fashioned so I like cash. But I usually don't have all that much to take to a show.
A friend of mine that does craft shows has Square, a setup for cards that works on the phone or tablet. Hardly any of his stuff is expensive. usually around $30. He says that almost all of his sales were done through square. When we started accepting cards at the bicycle shop back around 2001 or 2002, our sales doubled. The way technology is today, I can't see someone not taking cards or electronic payments in some way |
