Great post Dan....

The most interesting part (to me) is verification that these Pins did indeed come with a specific set of original Ribbons and Charms. Many advanced Pinback Collectors adamantly state that the Ribbons and Charms add no real value, because they were randomly added on by a street vendor after the fact.

But in this instance, it is clear that there are original Ribbons and Charms. Also interesting is the fact that they're referred to as "Badges".

As for the pennants, it must have been a small leap of faith to order without any picture or image. Must've been a big element of surprise when these arrived in the mail.

Different times, for sure... Good stuff!
