Day 54
I've seen pictures of Bill Mazeroski's 1960 World Series HR countless times and I've always wondered if Roberto was in the large group waiting for Maz to cross home plate. However, I had never really made an attempt to identify Clemente until I purchased this next item. With a little bit of research I've determined that, sure enough...he's there!  He's the third player from the left (without his ball cap). Note the man behind him in the white shirt with his hands on Roberto's back.1961 Pittsburgh Pirates pocket schedule...    The following photos were found online and helped me positively ID Roberto... Photo shows Maz approaching home with Dick Schofield (# 11) and Hal Smith (# 5) waiting at home, with Roberto just to the right. Note the man/boy in the white shirt standing directly behing Clemente with his hands on Roberto's back.
