Here's a sad example of a ticket whose ink has faded over time. This stub from the June 4, 2000 New York Mets v. the Tampa Bay Devil Rays game at Shea Stadium was sold at an "ETM" ticket kiosk in the Roosevelt Field Mall, Garden City, New York. It's particularly sad because ETM ticket kiosks didn't last very long, so stubs from those machines are, I'd guess, particularly rare.

As faint as the printing is, it's much more legible on this enhanced scan (made July 18, 2012) than on the actual ticket.
