Bregman may be my new favorite player, that guy is just a ballplayer... he did plenty of damage with the bat, but I loved his guts in the field, especially those throws home. If they can keep that core together, they should be good for a while.

That throw home in the last ALCS game was the highlight of the series for me.

As a native Houstonian I have been waiting 55 years for this championship.
I went to the first Colt 45's game with my grandpa in 1962.
I was 14 yrs old then and now I'm 69

What do I remember about that first game well Roman metías 2 home runs for the Colts and watching a tall future homer ss for the cubs standing at the plate with the bat high which of course was Ernie Banks.

I' glad for the team, fans and city of Houston,
I'm just glad it happened in my lifetime

Congratulations. I had the exact same feeling last year with the Cubs.

And so did my father in 2005 with the White Sox (he died in 2008).
