Leon- That is an exquisite postcard! Did a little on-line sleuthing to see what I could learn. Was able to access the 1907 Holy Cross yearbook which had some photos and info about the 1905 team.
The Yale game marked the grand opening of Fitton Field. ![]() ![]() Seems Yale won the game 5-4. ![]() ![]() In 1905 Holy Cross had a catcher that went by the name of Carrigan. Making the bold assumption that the home team was in white and thus in the field, that would be him behind home plate. ![]() ![]() Rough looking fellow 2nd from left back row. Very cool or what? ![]()
