Mookie Betts set a record today with eight 'lead-off RBIs'.
Obviously, we know what this means - just as we knew what most home runs by a catcher, etc. meant. ...but, 'lead-off RBIs' as a label, seems so ridiculous. At the very least, strike it up as today's most seemingly impossible stat. By 'Ulitmate Misomer', I refer to a statistic that, on it's face (or label) is literally impossible to achieve. Watch's your favorite similar 'record label'? .

So...what is a lead-off RBI? How would that be anything other than a result of lead-off home runs?
