WHeN Did the "Tinsel" Die?
My Daughter got a New Age Polaroid Camera Fir Christmas THiS Year! I remember THeY Were popular iN the 60's & 70's... Along wit the Tinsel Trees, JuST Like the DiMaggio's had! A Wonderful Photo fir Sure!!!

I was thinking the same thing, Denny
We had a few packs when I was a kid - mom always took it off the tree and put it back in the package while taking down the tree. I remember we also started only getting the "new" (lightweight) stuff by the time I was 10 (1973). It was *so* different. The old leaded tinsel was heavy, and would actually hang on the tree. Would not blow away, even in a stiff breeze - we used fans in Orlando, even in December ... ![]() Happy Holidays, everyone. -- Mike |
