September Pickups

Nothing to break the price guide, but here are two solid Clementes that arrived today. The regular issue card - if it is not NM, it is close. Always been one of my favorite cards, and for whatever reason I have never had another one since trading away the first one I had as a kid when I was probably 12. Love the reflective looking shot of Roberto just looking at the ball. Kind of poignant - he had no way of knowing what was in store for him only months after this card was issued. Long live the great one!

Striking pick-up, Chris! This would have to be one of the very few remaining. I love it, man. The jingle, "THE CHOCOLATE DRINK OF CHAMPIONS" was cool.

Thanks Brian! I enjoyed our conversation as well. As for the matchbook, I was very pleased to add it. Now I just have to decide whether it is worth it to send it in for the cap offered on the back! Hope you have a great weekend!
